Previous my workout experience and diet had not been very effective and I found myself doing the same old thing without any drive or any results. Annette Beukes has brought a tremendous amount of enthusiasm, energy and experience to the workouts.

Starting out with the diet was difficult and a big adjustment because I loved chocolates, cakes an all kinds of sweets, but after about a week on the diet I realised that I wasn’t really craving them anymore! I started reaching for some nuts or raw vegetables at snack time and felt really satisfied. I have been on an exercise program and diet for about nine weeks with the following results:

Let me just say that my diet was much to be desired and I was any persons worse challenge because I ate bread, red meat, potatoes, rice, sweets, crisps and coke and thought there is nothing wrong with it and the quantity of food was also a problem and the times I used to eat was not exactly what it should be. I thought let me try and find a trainer on the internet that can suit our needs to train at home and do the diet and everything in one person that would mean we do not have to drive from one person to another and that is where the journey started.

I typed in home personal trainers and up popped this site http://www.hpt2-hometraining.com with a name Annette Beukes and so I opened and I started reading through the site and then the pictures opened and I thought well if she looks like this she must be good so I send an enquiry via her website and she came back to me and we set up an appointment and we made an appointment to get together.

Firstly she was spot on and knew exactly about the blood group I was and she started talking about what things I liked and not liked before I told her my eating habits. Her first words that gutted me was no more Coke and no more Starch but plenty of fish for my blood type, I was thinking this is just not going to be possible but She knows what she is talking about because like she says “You are what you eat” and that is no lie because this was now the time to take my measurements for the first time and this is what mine was saying when we started this process of Diet and Exercise:

Body Weight: 90.3 kg
Lean Body Mass: 60.9 kg
Fat Mass: 29.3 kg
Basal Metabolic Rate: 1900
67.5% Lean Body Mass
32.5% Fat Mass

Ok so there I started with shocking weight and body fat and everything that was just not right. Then we started with a 3 day detox period and after we went over to our blood type diet and started following it in a very strict manner and no deviations except on Sundays but also with only small cheats instead of going all the way on Sundays. With a balanced exercise plan 5 days a week that Annette worked out it happening, the exercise takes you about 45min to 1 hour and then you have had a good workout and you can feel it. Now it was time to do measurements again and instead of 6 weeks then measure we gave it 3 weeks and then measure because you just need to see a change to get new inspiration and then you can go on again mentally. This was the 2nd time we got together and this is what the results said:

I started training with Annette having an injured shoulder. I went for numerous physio sessions, but nothing really worked, and I was thinking about seeing a surgeon. Annette rehabilitated my shoulder nearly a 100% within a month of our start, and I am swimming pain free again.

I also got a lot stronger functionally, and this helped immensely with my cycling and running.

All of the above was accomplished with the bare minimum of equipment I had to buy, and mostly done with body-weight.

Annette is a extremely knowledgeable trainer, and I recommend her HIGHLY!

It is not often that one finds in this "day & age" people that:

i) Sincerely renders services of a high standard.
ii) Not being driven primarily by materialistic selfish gains.
iii) Being Honourably in the way they conduct themselves.

I can with conviction testify that Annette, not only meets the above but Beyond.

Which is Rare!!!
